Dunno if they come in a can or not, but Palm runners are the toy version of the Mini-Zs

Non modifiable (well you can get an uprated motor for it) less power, and less frequencies available. However, the body and wheels are interchangeable with the Mini-Zs

Search for palm runner, you will find very few good comments... the palm is junk, worth about 20$ for the body, rims/tires, stock motor, and spare screws.... the frequencies are useless.. it has no servo, and the esc radio is kmart toy quality...

The Car in a Can you are talking about is called the Auldey Race Tin. It's a remote control car about 1/32 from memory, it comes in a hexagonal plastic like tin container, and the lid of the container, is the remote control unit. These are the best RC mini cars i have seen for price.

Here they cost $40 (that's USD $20) for an entire ready to run mini RC car. They are quite good and offer heaps of hop up parts, but excluding price, they compare nothing to a Mini-z.

If you can't afford the $300, go for that one its, $40 (Australian $$)

Their website is at: www.tin-cars.com
