Well, I'm hoping to come. I just put the van up for sale though and already have someone coming by to look at it. If that happens on Saturday then I'll need to stay around for that.

I am in for both classes.
I set my track up last weekend and am trying to knock off the rust with 1 pack a day. The race in myrtle beach has me amped up for racing and the family is amped up about the beach.

I'm going to try and get over at least for a few hours. I can't say for sure yet but I hope to.

Man, can't go. Surprisingly our van already sold today. Hence, tomorrow I'm at the dealership looking into one I think I will be buying. Sorry guys.

Sorry you can't make it Russ!

Hank, come on out... you're probably getting rusty by now (fingers crossed)! ...I have some WD40, might help... I'd be glad to spray some in your eyes before each heat ! Just kidding!

Billy? Haven't heard from you for a while... you out there? You coming over?

Yep, I'm still here. I was actually planning on coming out since Russ was going to be there (and possibly provide me with a better chance of having someone to race with). But, since I already went to the trouble of putting my car back together and charging my batteries, I'm coming anyway.

Oh come on Hank! You can fix any kind of car problem in like 2 seconds! I've seen you like rebuild an entire Mini-Z, stack on 5 or 6 more FETs, and rewind one of your highly illegal monster motors all in the time it takes the other drivers to change their batteries and put their cars on track! Surely you can fix a little TPS thingy before dinner tonight! ;)

Well I pulled the motor from my 2wd apart, The comm was worn unlike any comm I have seen in 21 years of rc.

It had a groove 1/16 inch deep. It is obiously a bad batch of comm material. Please keep an eye on your motors for wear with the hfay motors.

I have had comms last many sets of brushes before. The hfay motor lasted about 3/4 of 1 brush set.

Did you do a motor break-in? I've seen comm's messed up from lack of break-in, which can cause excessive arc'ing.

BTW, I got my AM board working again. It appears that the antenna wire wasn't making good contact with the antenna. I may still be interested in one of your AM boards Art. I'm debating on how bad I'd like to have a backup.

Yes I break in all my motors. I did a wet and dry break in on this one. I did notice the brushes are extra hard and took along time to seat fully.
