I know right!!!! It was a fast track. I was able to break into the 90's which I was happy with that. I was also running fast laps in the 4.6-4.8 range. If I was running with a faster group of cars I'm sure I could be up there. Both Sheila and Drew are getting faster and more consistent.

100 laps is ~ a 4.8 average. I'd say he was crash free and ran all clean laps.

My track record was 4.3. My fast lap during the main was 4.47. Not far off but my average was 5.1.

I was able to hit 103 laps on this track while practicing for our races. that was on the track by myself. Throw in the slower traffic and my laps suffered too.

Corrr. That's excellent! Rob did really well!

Our best was Matt (digger) with an impressive 4.7 and mine was like a 4.8.

Keeping a consistent 4.8 is amazing. He must of had a good group to race with too!

I have the speed and power just can't keep the consistency. I also have to race clean and not as aggresive when I'm on the track with Drew(son) and Sheila(wife) as I don't want them to get discouraged since they are doing well.

Our lap times and placing are consistent with what we ran when we were at Stafford. There though we all ran in different mains.

The Ringer was on autopilot Saturday... didn't seem to have the fastest car either, just super smooth and stable driving when it counted. It was great racing the whole day, I know the lead spot was changing every single race... they we're all good battles!

I'd be curious what our fastest laps were that day... anyone have them available? Ian?

My best lap was with my F1 @ 4.30, Racer was 4.32, I'd have to look and see what my average was.

Is there something in the American water that makes you guys so quick?

I bet there's something that speeds your reactions up and make time feel like it's going by really really really slowly.

In the olympics, performance enhancing drugs are considered cheating, you know...

Just something to keep in mind Bri, being the HFAY director n all that. :p

Well I definately wasn't drinking from the tap when I lived there ;):p

Speaking of water have you guys done a water break-in for your motors?

Hehe... Not for these new HFAY ones, no.

Would you recommend it?

Definately. My initial run with these motors was slow before the break-in. Now they have shiney comms and a good ratio of torque and speed.

Do you mean comm drops? They use them on Mardave G2 motors which are stock sealed motors. Om bigger 540 motors, you can skim the com.

I typically just run mine on the PN motor breakin stand for 15 minutes at 2 volts to the drive motor.

Sorry, I missed this thread earlier. In counter stock racer Mike K squeaked in a 4.20, and you pulled a 4.25. Bill's best lap in that direction was a 4.38, but he spent most of the race posting 4.5-5 second laps (his pace was 4.84).

Mike pulled a 4.19 lap in clockwise stock racer.

Matt pulled a 4.13 in clockwise F1, and a 4.19 in counter F1.
