View Full Version : Adjusting ride height

I always wanted to know if there was a way to raise the front ride height of my 02 without messing with the front knuckles.

For instance, I painted up a fxx body recently and instead of shaving off the bottom of the body a little bit, I wanted to know if their were any alternatives. I know that in the rear you can pop off the clips and adjust them accordingly. And there is always the option of running larger wheels, but I'm curious to see what everyone else does and if there is any other alternative.

Thanks in advance for your input.

I guess you could make a front body clip that raises the body.

Modding the stock one wouldnt be too hard either. You would need to shave down the bottom of where it fits into the car, then add some material to the top, so it still fits tight.

You can heat up the stock plastic mount, and bend it upward a little. Works on the 360GTC where the front tend to touch the ground. Hot air soldering iron works good, but maybe a lighter might work.

All good suggestions. Thanks a lot guys. Gotta try those next time I go out to the track.
