Using nothing other than Legos. Stand rotates via rod that doesn't interfere with painting process. Holds any Mini-Z, Xmod, or even 1/24 model kit bodies without any additional modifications or alterations. For Mini-Z bodies, stand accommodates for glued-in side clips.

Pretty cool. I made one from some scrap materials we had around our shop. It can be rotated into just about any position, and accepts any type of body as well. I also made one (we are frequently painting multiple bodies at a time) with a portion of a dummy chassis attached to the top, so i can just snap on Z bodies that have clips installed. Thats the one we use mostly, as we dont paint anything other than Zs.

I use an ASC dissplay/stan with a dumby chassis. I got the dumby chassis to sit higher with some longer screws. I normaly hold this with a plastic bag on my hand and paint with the other hand. It works very well.
