Personally... I'd rather see this one pop up in the lineup before anything else. To me, this is the pinnacle of automotive design... Mazda is the one to watch in the coming years. There is a reason more Mazdas are raced every weekend than any other brand out there... now they're just showing off! :D

I 2nd the notion for the zonda. the mazda looks sick but i couldn't imagine it being practical in any way as an actual race body.

The Furai seems proportionally close to an Enzo to me, and that body is still a preferred one.
The Zonda always seemed like a knock-off McLaren to me, but it would still be cool to see!

Sick. :p

K should have a vote on which cars to be next and
make it. That'd be the cheese.

I'd actually say a Koenigsegg would be sweet. Those look better than either of the above and work about the same. Would satisfy all Ferrari, McLaren, and Lambo fans at once.

I'm with Ed on the Mazda Furai, love that car and it's aggressive styling. I'd love to see an S-13 as well, both coupe and hatchback versions.. I'd definitely buy those if Kyosho decided to release them. I'm surprised that Kyosho hasn't come out with a Ferrari 599 yet though.

I don't even care if it isn't a great race body, it is just too great of a car to not have! Under $30,000 and still a 400HP saloon. :D

This is the Furai:

Saw this thing in the flesh at the Detroit auto show - it is almost indescribable, it's like it's from another planet, or at least the distant future - yet at the same time it looks completely organic and natural - by far the coolest thing at the show last year! :cool :)

I bet that sooner or later they will do an Audi R-8 MA-010.

They have three versions of GT-R's R-32, R-34 and the GT-R so why not an Audi companion to along with the TT's

I would love to see a Honda NSX-R with out a huge hear spolier and all of the JGTC junk you see on most all of the JGTC bodies. Also a Honda S2000 CR would be nice.

My one that I would pee my pants for would be a sw20 or sw21

I'd say that it's the sexiest car ever, but I still prefer real-world cars... but my faves for that scene are not based on looks, rather more on overall scheme (Evo X ranks pretty high in my book). But if I didn't live in a state where potholes get named like canyons get named out west (I think PA roads are a government experiment in futility), and the Furai came out in a streetable version... I'd probably be the first at the dealership.

Here's some concept sketches for the Furai... awesome how they stayed true to it!:

And then there's this thing from Mazda... not sure if manufacturers are planning to race on glass tracks, but this would certainly generate interest coming down the road.

Both R8 and Gallardo exist... in Dnano! :D

In fact the Gallardo was just shown at the shyzuoka hobby show.
For the R8, the body exist in 1/28 scale but on x-mod chassis.

But I also dream of these two cars on an AWD chassis.

i dont think the zonda will never be a Z. The back is flat making it unable to use a shock.

I'm on the Gallardo band wagon though, its my favorite car. R8s are cool too, im thinking about making my zmod into one with the xmod R8.

I'm definitely up for the gallardo as well. And now that you mention the whole shock clearance issue, I really don't know how k would pull it off :0

Kyosho!! its about time you make the ZONDA F into a Mini-Z!!!!

I'll GO WITH YOU. ... and for the FURAI TOO.

both bodies are amazing. In fact a lot of concepts would make great mini-z!

It's been long since I'm tryin to get my hands on a Zonda 1:24 model kit, to try to adapt to a MR02, but It so hard to find.... There are a lot of 1:43 or Die cast models, but they're the most expensive always!

Being the furai a concept yet.... forget about getting models.

But I wnat the Zonda. The new Zonda R - the racing version :

Thats a joke right?:)

I hope at least half of it was.

But really, the Zonda is just exotic looking. Doesn't really have any lines the make up the car. The designers didn't to a very good job making the design flow. It's just over the top. It's another countach. A poster car that every 12 year old kid has hanging in his room...

I personally think that they should start up production of that white and orange Supra. That is the best looking body in my book.

PS: We should send the link to this thread to Kyosho America :D

Would be nice to see Zonda's and Furai's and other super cars together on a Mini-Z track....

But..... K seems more oriented on doing GT or Japanese cars.

We could say that the few Supercars available for our scale are among the best for Racing. So more of these should be surely "best choices" for any racer.

Anyway, i love the Zonda, perhaps cause it's designed by a fellow countryman, and honours lots of local stuff, and have been looking for 1/24 models to adapt. Couldn't find any yet...

Too many in die-cast... but they're useless to us.

living in japan has its advantages...

i (by chance) met and was talking with one of the head designers for the Autoscale bodies..
one of the things he said was that one of the biggest hurdles is if the car manufacturer will allow you to do it...
i also complained about the line up and so he asked me what cars i would like to see i was heavily into drifting at that stage and said i wanted more drift cars.
one of the cars i said i wanted was the s13 sileighty, he said that nissan wouldnt let him do it..
After our chat there have been many new drift cars added to the line up.. (probably nothing to do with our chat BUT) i'd like to think i had something to do with that.. :)

how long does it usually take for kyosho to come out with an autoscale from design to final production?

WOW! How cool is that :-) Having the opportunity to talk to the Kyosho designers/enginners! Nice! I personally would have asked for more WRC cars, like
the new Focus for example :-)

igor, we have. kyosho has in the past issued polls to which we were requested to respond to which we saw many released as autoscales. it was years ago however.

what i would like to see: quarterly Q and A sessions where major/represented discussion forums can send in x number of questions to which Kyosho would agree to answer x number. each discussion forum would then post the responses.

fyi, many MAJOR toy manufacturers already do this for lines such as star wars, gi joe, transformers, etc., etc. this can be done and is being done successfully already.
