Hello all,

I have a Mini 96 track in the garage that I practice on and was wondering if the Microsizer or Radio Shack Mini lap counter can be used to track my lap times and progress. I'm really trying to improve my driving skill level. Any tips to achieve this will also be helpful. Thanks.

Holy crap! I had no idea, those little cheapies are capable of this. Now I gotta find the lap counters on Ebay. Which is better?

I picked-up the Microsizers lap counter and used a small mirror on the opposite side to reflect the IR beam.

It's been great!! I wish I would have found this years ago.

I have one modified. mounted on a 4x4,$20 high power laser from a discount laser store, photovoltaic collector from radio shack in an aluminum tube, I then ran electrical tape flag on the anttenna.

It work great for practice for one for under $50

I now have upgraded to I lap for our club to run HFAY.
