Hi,

I recently bought a 2.4GHz MA010 Chassis Kit and found a beautiful Setup for my RCP Track with these tires. Have anybody of you the article number of that tires?

TIA

Henning

Most likely 40s, they stopped making 50s a while ago from what I gather.

I believe that the AWD came with 2x 30d narrow sets and a 20d wide set...

I picked up an awd chassis set last week, they are 20 wide and 30 narrow for sure. I compared them to the other tires I have. The narrows seem to soft to be 40's.

EMU and VAzRACER are correct the AWD kit comes with four 30d narrows slicks tires and two 20d wide slick tires. Unless they recently changed it because all three of my AWDs came with those tires mentioned above and all were slicks with no numbers on them.

If you manage to run the awd out the box on an RCP track and the handling is spot on then they are 30 narrows and 20 wides. I run these tires on my mr-02.

If these were 40's they wouldn't have any grip on the RCP.

i run 40's on my AWD car in stock and mod they have more than enough grip!! 40's are only slightly harder than the new PN20's. in fact my car was traction rolling last week with 40 fronts until i glued the sidewalls!!

as a matter of fact i was actually running the kit front tires and wheels!! i had 30's on for the first qualifier and they had too much bite so i switched right before the second qual which is why the tires were not glued or taped hence the traction rolling!! i have never actually purchased 40's because i have enough of them from kits!! same with 30 rears.

^ Ive bought AWD chassis kits with the 20/30 combo, and with the 30/40 combo (probably close to 10 kits between my dad and I, with most of them being 20/30). I think Kyosho just throws on whichever they have more of on hand.

I can agree with the 40s having plenty of grip as well. Up at the NJ PN regional I was traction rolling with 40 fronts with the side walls glued  Normally I do run the 20/30 combo, but Ive been liking the extra rotation and reduced chatter that comes running a 30/40 set up. My lap times with my spec AWD (Xspeed) are right in line with the lap times from my mod MR02, and I feel have have plenty of traction/control.

I cant get 30 rears to work at all!!

Fronts are 30, rears are 20, no debating this, it is a fact. With that in mind, the 40's are decent, but if they are from an AWD chassis kit Marcus, believe it or not, they are 30'S :o

The ASF MR02 comes with 30 rear and 40 fronts now. But since this is an AWD thread, I assume you are speaking about the AWD.

thats interesting cus the car i have is new out of the box (building it for someone) and there is no doubt that the fronts are 40. but i have had cars before that were screwed up out of the box (remember the mclaren cristian!!!). maybe the guy swapped tires before he sent it to me....oh well!
