If you flip the tiles over, there is a smooth side on the bottom of the rough side for drifting ;)

If you can't drift on smooth side rcp with drift tyres, then it's practice you need, not a different setup.

im wondering what drift tyres you got, as i have the Atomic drift tyre set, and it works perfectly on RCP, and i haven't even tried turning over the rcp!

how can you not drift with it?
im running on the normal rcp surface with drift tyres, and it drifts fine, you dont even need to flip the rcp!

I can drift just fine with ball diffs even, so RCP is fine as long as you use plastic tires.

are you sure that you are using AWD? because sound to me that you are using 2WD.

Go try that with 2WD man... I'm talking about AWD. Diffs don't really make a difference.

you can drift on the rough side of the rcp. i have seen it done.my fellow racer does it all the time. its harder to almost impossible with a 2wd, you need a awd. you can also do it with x mods. i think the x mods do it better some times due to the weight

Hello,

I have tried both the smooth Kyosho drifting tires and the textured GPM drifting tires on my RCP track. The textured GPM tires have much more grip than the Kyosho ones, making it much more difficult to drift. If you are using those you could try switching to the Kyosho ones.

Thanks arch, plenty of model kit conversions in there. Might try and translate to my best ability.
