You cannot crash on a track like that. They didnt flip his car for like 30 seconds.. Those sticks must be a pain in the ass.

Getting through that first turn clean looks like a challenge. Nice video quality.

Thanks herman, yes, CT were still here, but no more new track till now.

And for the MR-03, the shop over here said the first stock will be available on the mid- september. Seems every one were excited about it. Cheers~~

it just feels nicer to play on that kind of layout...feels more natural, RCP is way too boxy...

Awesme video's and very nice driving :) I'm wondering what those barriers are made of and how they're kept in place on the track...

if i remember it right, it is some sort of medium density foam (sort of like the rcp side rail, but a bit thinner) there are screws that hold them down on the track. then the rails are lined with the hook side of velcro tape (i think stuck on with glue or double sided tape) the velcro helps cars glance off the rails & avoids snagging...

hope this helps

hi master jacob... what's your experience with mms?

I was there during the 2008 Atomic Cup Finals in Hong Kong, they were kind enough to take us there for some testing on Friday because neither Cristian or myself had any experience with carpet. It was awesome, I had never seen that much grip on a track in my life! The cars were setup pretty radically to deal with the ridiculous grip. ;) I think I stayed there with my Dad until maybe 3am, didn't want to leave.

lol... racing on carpet will do that for ya... :D
so if you had a choice to run on carpet or rcp... what would it be???

Impossible to say for sure, but I think RCP just because its a more forgiving surface and its easier to take apart and create new layouts. Its also the norm in the United States...;)

Hmmm its not too far away... It may be too much trouble trying to switch hotels at this point. Anyways, it would be a good opportunity meeting the local racers over there before the race. Let me know if you decide to make the trip over to MZ. Ill be in Hong Kong on the 4th.
