In the hopes of avoiding undesirable Readysets warming the shelves, we would like to know which option you would prefer for purchases?
1. Increased quantity of Chassis Sets and separate Autoscales selections
2. Increased quantity of TX-Less Chassis Set with Autoscale
3. Continue with Readysets
There are benefits in either option in regards to price however we would like to tailor stock levels to purchase trends in order to avoid inventory mistakes (PT Cruiser Readyset comes to mind :p ) which take shelve space away from more popular and higher demand items.

If possible, it'd be nice if retailers could give a package discount to those customers buying a chassis set + a separate Autoscale. It provides nearly the same incentive as buying a Tx-less Readyset but retailers get some more flexibility stock-wise.

that is where this is headed. we have that capability to be automated with the configurator setup.
you may not be able to get that package price as low due to the MAP for the chassis set + MAP for autoscale vs. MAP for tx-less readyset. as you can see with the mr-03, they are heavily discounting the autoscale price with the tx-less readyset.

I say have everything separately. If you need a certain ASC, get it; if you just need a chassis, get it. Let me add in a desire for more bare ASCs like the R32 collection ones without the case, dummy chassis or wheels/tires that come down to 20-30$ a piece vs new 40-50 for extras most of us don't even need.

All seperate would be best I think.. but maybe with some kind of discount if you buy a set (tx+chassis+body or tx+chassis or chassis+body) :)
I had to double read it as 1 and 2 sounded the same at first!
I would go with option 1 as you have more options.

Voted for Option #1
I also agree with Sponge's suggestion.

Are they selling them in readysets? I haven't seen one.

No - since it's 2.4, only RC Chassis Set (http://shop.tinyrc.com/product.php?productid=20101&cat=0&page=1)s and Tx-less (http://shop.tinyrc.com/search.php?mode=search&by_title=Y&by_shortdescr=Y&by_fulldescr=Y&including=all&substring=mr-03+tx-less) sets will be produced, so that you can select whether you want to use a KT-18 or Helios. That way you don't end up with a big pile of KT-18s like we all have KT-2s/KT-5s from the old 27MHz days! :)
