I don't know... well they have the Merc so I see no reason why they don't have the gallardo...

Ah, so that's what there doing, a new MR-02 chassis. If you look, it's the same front end suspension and top, but the battery area is the narrower MR-03 type. That explains the new board for the MR-02. Hope the MA-010 update is around the corner....

Just looked again, it might actually be more like a MR-015 width front end, with the MR-03 battery config update, interesting.

Great stuff!:D
LINK 1: Pic's #9 and #10 from top: Li-Fe cells for Mini-Z - This was brought up on another thread, but man, for Mod-crazies like myself, I love this idea. Talk about "Outlaw Class"....:cool:Very cool. I wonder what the voltage is for these packs tho... I know from experience that these 130-size Mini-Z motors don't stand up to high voltage too well.... 2S Li-Ion is OK (But still pushing it) @7.4v, some motors with fat comms and thick-gauge wire can take the abuse for 5+minute runs with proper cool-down. But 2S High-discharge Li-po cells at full-charge (8.4v) kill motors during hard racing.
Also in pic #9 from the top, what kind of oil-shock is that? Looks kind of Kawada-ish, but maybe an update of the yellow K MR015-MR02 Oil Shock?

Pic #6 from bottom: RA-22 PCB unit for the MR02. NICE.:D:D

LINK 2: Middle pic, second row down from top: A Kyosho SAS? And does that info sheet in the photo say "LL" wheelbase? Is K bringing the 98mm Wheelbase to the AWD themselves finally?

From Jayena, Spain!

Jayena,
Don't know if this is your blog in the first link, but all on the pics on that site are stolen from here: http://www.pro-s-futaba.co.jp/home/48th-hobby-show/516-49hs-1.html

I use very very often pics from sites from all over the world, but the least you can do is put a link where you found them and not cut away the original URL and past your own logo on it like it is your own.

You see...

wow...starting with the new Sauber Mercedes for the MR-03, I've counted at least 18 new models coming out just at the 1/28th scale from Kyosho. That really is a lot of new bodies to come out at relatively the same time.

HaCo
2009.10.11, 07:14 AM
Yep Bobby, let's make an overview:

Mini-z:
- Sauber C9 (2 livery's)
- Porsche 911 GT1 (White and Porsche Colors)
- Porsche 911 996 GT3 (Red Bull and Yohohama)
- Porsche 956 in special blue
- Ferrari 430 GT2 in Red Bull Color
- Ferrari 430 GT4 (or cup car?) in Brazil Color
- 350Z Pace Car
- Nissan GT-R Test Car
- Mitsubishi Evo X Rally Version
- Subaru Impreza N12 Rally Version
- WIP: Maserati MC-12, Corvette C6-R, Micra

The variety is just insane now, so many possible combos to build & test now. Good to see the Z isn't going anywhere for a looooooong time!

Not very nice!

In this pic not only is the rear suspension new but the rear bulkhead also has a ball bearing to support the spur gear so that it doesnt skip on the diff crown gear. This will be great for those that prefer a 98mm setup, no more skipping gears!

EMU
2009.10.11, 02:50 PM
That AWD rear end looks sweet. I figured out 2 reasons why my AWD started to mishandle on thursday. 1. the chassis cracked under the battery compartment. 2. the spur slid off the shaft a little and was rubbing the diff causing binding and the left turns to be much tighter than the right. This rear end will help a lot in keeping the spur in place and prevent it from spinning off the axis.

Is this a 94/98mm wheelbase rear?

Haco and arch2b firstly thanks for visiting my blog, like the rest of the forum.

Insist that my sole intention is and was to report from here and from mini-z World. In the blog news are all linked.

All constructive criticism is accepted, the destructive hated.

Thank you for your reply, it's good the intention is there! I try to follow your site, sometimes I find news, that I haven't seen yet, so it is interesting for me. But I never found a link to an external source on your website. Maybe something is wrong?
Still my principle is that any pics and info that not comes from yourself, should be marked, linked or quoted by the owner.

The problem is this. The more cool bodies they make, the more I want. The more I want of the newer ones, the more I'll want of the older ones. Problem with the older ones, is their getting rarer and rarer and thus more and more either expensive and/or impossible to find!
One could have 1000 AutoScales in their collection and still not have every single one ever made! Now that would be quite the feet to behave!

Reminds me of when my wife was collecting beanie babies about 11 years ago. They kept making more and more, until it was just too much to keep up.

Better off collecting dNaNo bodies, since they just started making them.
