View Full Version : Do you like it hard or soft? Car setup; that is, get your mind out of the gutter

I was at the NYRC 10th race this weekend and I noticed that I have my car setup much softer than most people. Both the T-plate and the front springs (MR-02) were softer.

How do you run your cars? Why?

I like soft fronts and rubber for quicker and better bite (keeping it thematic with the title :D ), rear a little harder if anything to make sure the plate doesn't snap after a few hits in the back.

Wholly depends on the track, I think... I typically use the hardest T-plates and springs that the track's grip and tile gaps will allow. My 03 currently wears the #6 carbon T-plate, white top spring (PN dual-spring top shock) and white springs up front. This lets me run a lower ride height without bottoming out.
