Has anyone attempted this ? using the old 2.4Ghz PCB into a MR03 chassis?

Obviously the first problem that comes in view is the servo motor, where is it possible to get one of the same kind used by the 03s?

the old 2.4 board is too long and too wide

So.. it's practically impossible to upgrade. Easier and cheaper to buy a MR03, right ?

alot easier,i havent tried the 03 board into 02 yet but the awd works fine with it installed:)

That's true, also. But as the 03 Chassis performs so well .... it would be nice to be able to upgrade our old cars without having to buy a completely new one.

Anyway, there are several components needed, besides the servo motor and the PCB

The owner of my local track; Face Pace Racing, has his 03 board in his 02. We call it the MR-02.5 :)

That was my thought as well after thinking about it during the day.... Isn't eh MR03 motor brushless?
