I need some differential shims. I had two that came with my 3racing ball differentials BUT I lost them. Is there anywhere that these shims can be purchased? If you know please tell me! I have terrible gear mesh and its annoying!

No problem, glad I could help. These are the ones that I use...

Start with the .1, if you need more, then use the .2 instead of 2x.1 . . . and use .3 instead of a .1 and .2. When installing them on the rear diff, after getting the right mesh, remove the rear end, and make sure that the diff will spin free. If it binds, than you have too many shims. Setting diff shims is very important for the performance of the AWD. You want to make sure you have good mesh, without any binding.

Easier to start with all shims on one side, and remove the rear end from the car. That way, you can see if the diff spins freely. Add or remove shims until just one more smallest shim would clamp up the bearings.
Then install the rear end and just swap shims from one side to the other to get the right mesh.
Take out the rear end to make sure it still spins freely. Done.
Don't forget the pinion depth. Add shims to the back of the pinion until one more shim would hit the pinion against the diff housing.
The car will be as silent as a 2WD.

You could do it that way as well... But try to use as more of the thicker shims, instead of many thin ones. I think it makes some difference, since there is less of a chance that some dust will get stuck between the shims and cause it to bind.

Can anyone explain what is meant by this part of the post? I am not sure I understand exactly. I feel like the post is telling me to shim my gear that attaches to the rear of my driveshaft but the shims would have to be a different size right?

Yup-yup. :D The center-driveshaft that has the 8t front pinion gear on it and the 27/29/31t option spur gear on it can be shimmed by using m2 washers like you would use for front droop adjustment under your MR02 knuckles. By placing shims on the center-driveshaft before installing the 27/29/31t spur gear you can set the "depth" the spur gear engages with the rear differential. You have to be careful of 2 things: Make sure the center-driveshaft isn't binding from installing the 27/29/31t spur gear too tight on the center-shaft bearings, and make sure the 27/29/31t spur isn't too-far back that it is pushing-up against the differential housing (Like benmlee said:D)
