are you referring to the r246 m3's? check the 2010 new autoscales thread. r246 has had a group of them up on their website for awhile now. this is not 'new' news.

anyone catch the red #14 kyosho nascar body behind the white m3 gtr?

i don't recall seeing the white livery ferrari f40 before.

to bad we couldn't see the rest of the bodies on the bottom shelf. i saw the makers rx-7 down there.

again, the m3's have been on kyosho's r246 website for some time, these are not new products debuted at the toy fair.

the website has a feb. 2010 release date which is always a jpn date, not u.s. assuming kyosho usa knows they exist and a retailer requested them, it would be about march before they show up here.

typical scenario (from my perspective): we see what japan has. we ask kyosho usa when we can get them. k usa doesn't know about them and asks us for product numbers. we provide numbers and they have to get back to us. by then jpn has a release date and historically we've been a month behind at least unless it has been a coordinated release.

i would expect that retailers are placing orders now if they know about them.

i'm shocked we haven't seen the usual hpi website updates with images and news. for example, did hpi show the rs32 again?

Yep they did, there was a small racetrack and some small twitter updates. I asked for a video on twitter, the wanted to do it, but in the end hadn't enough time.

Well, after looking closely at the pics posted on the TRP site, I'm disappointed to find that there isn't a new NASCAR body per se...

It's just an old style NASCAR body with a Kyosho decal on it, along with the number 14, similar to Tony Stewarts car.
I was hoping that they actually did a version of the COT car (Car of Today) with Stewart, but I guess I'll have to keep that on my wish list....:(

I talked to friend from Kyosho.de and he told me that the Nascar and the Prototype bodies are not new. They were specially painted to the show on regular white mini-z bodies. No word on the F-40 tough.

They seem to have focused on bodies, no new stuff on equipment?

By the german site, is it me or Hönigl just drove a Z in December?

i would not be surprised if enough interest is shown that they would release the show only bodies. frankly, i'm shocked they have not done this at all (kyosho branded body) in the 10 years the mini-z has been around.

kyosho seems to use their outlet route 246 to push parts these days. if you check out their website you'll find all the new aluminum bits, etc.

These K bodies look to have been painted by BeeFee, a german brusher browse artwork/model (http://www.beefee.de/)
You can see his logo on the side of the wing on the Porsche and as a license plate on the Nascars Porsche (http://www.nanospeeders.com/photos/beefee.jpg)
