i've noticed and have been pleasantly surprised that the performance of the MR-03 chassis has brought out a more diverse field of cars :) i've been seeing a greater diversity in body selection being posted here and brought to tracks.
i'd like to hear and see more from those that gave bodies a 2nd look and chance after trying them on an MR-03.
Oh yes.

As you can see here, I have found that bodies that were a bit slugish on the MR-02 behaves absolutely fantastic on the MR-03.

It's really true.... I took my 03 early last saturday to the track, just to play around with all the extra bodies I have and see which one was the best and most comfortable to drive.
And to my surprise, it handled very much the same with all of them!!!! Perhaps the Mazda 787 was more responsive in the front, and the Mclaren Lms was too long, provoking an akward felling, but in general I found myself making almost the same times no matter what body I used.
Anyway I felt most comfortable in my old Mercedes SLR - which should already be retired - and today I'll test a new Ferrari Daytona 365GTB - 98mm MM - from Heller I'm trying to adapt. It's a very light body, so I'll see how the chassis reacts to that.
But the truth is that the chassis is so well balanced that bodies no longer affect performace so drastically as it did with the other chassis.

i agree with you guys in seeing alot more bodies on the track... but what i like most is it took what were the best bodies for the 02 and make the great... my 03 with the ferrari 430 bodie is absolutly sick... and on mod im running the murcialago... i cant imagine what a chassis would be like when they top the 03... friggin autopilot for crying out loud...

I totally agree. Yesterday, I saw two different bodies that worked very well on the MR03. The McClaren F1 body driven by Leo Zheo and TJ's Porsche 911 GT1 body. I got a chance to drive Leo's McClaren set-up at 98mm and his car was planted. Later on that day, I got a chance to watch TJ drive a the Porsche 911 GT1 body and that MR03 looked like a SLOT CAR !!! He was able to capture afew 9.2 laps on our current layout at FPR which would be the fastest lap time. It's pretty cool to see so many different bodies working. I myself never used a F430 or a 360 until now. Im gonna try a 98mm set-up and see what happens from there. Pure fun !!!

I'll try 4 different bodys when our brazilian carpet track is ready: Nissam GTR Nizmo 2008, FXX, Mc Laren F1 and Cooper (I just love this body, I'll do my best to setup it as fast as possible!)
Here in our track, the preferences are for: Mclaren F1, Enzo and Mercedes bodys.
So, has anyone else tested other old or new bodies on the MR-03?
The bodies of choice for me these days are GT-R 2008, 350Z 2007 and 575GTC. I have not been able to test any others yet.

Hi Roger, which McLaren F1 are you referring to, the "Old" version (SHort-Tail) or the "New" version (Long-Tail)? I tried the "Short-Tail/Old version" Gulf McLaren last night on my home track and it ran well on one of my 03's.

Felix: Old version ( short tail ). I know that one of my friend's ( Romel ) is using his old McLaren bodies again. The photo below is one of my McLaren bodies.
