Thanks for the reply. I have that part figured what I'm stuck at is the damper holes don't line up and the bar that keeps the springs on barely reaches between both perches. I think I have the h plate and all the stuff on the bottom on wrong.. I cant believe 3racing doesnt have instructions.. I ran into a problem like this with the cc-01 steering parts. I'm no noob to rc's but this is my first mini-z and its pretty frustrating.

Again any help is appreciated. Pics with one assembled would be even better..

I just had my 01 running this weekend!

On mine the short plate is mounted below the H plate. So the order is short plate, H plate, motor mount. Mounting it above the H plate will shorten the shock a mm or two if needed.

The upper mount is sitting directly on the radio cover with the blue caps on top, holding the plate down. The washer and antenna are mounted on one side of the upper mount.

The roll shocks are assembled with the springs clipped onto the lip on each half of the shock. Then the shocks are put between the mounts and the top and bottom atachment screws adjustd. The atachment screws are not so tight as to clamp the shock body half to the mount... there is room for it to wiggle a little so it does not bind up. I used locktite on the screws to keep them at the right position. I am using the mounting holes at the end of the mount with a 90mm rear mount motor pod.

Hope this helps....

That helps a ton thank you. I finally got it together using your instructions only difference is I used the longer screws thru the top to hold the shock. I'll post a few pics later on. Now I need to find a body.
