I've happened upon a KO Propo EX-1 Mars transmitter and am reading that it could be a good candidate for a kt-18 replacement. My question is, does any KO 2.4ghz module work or do I need a specific one?

I see the KO Propo RF-901S which says it works with "EX-1 Mars (R)" but don't know if that means the R or NON-R version or JUST the R version.

Does a Spektrum 2.4ghz work?

What is different about the RF-902SM?

I use the Mars. The module I use is the RF-901SM and it works well. I can't tell you about other modules for sure but the RF-901sm works perfectly.

The RF-901s is 2.4 but it is not compatible with ASF vehicles like the Z or dnano. I'd imagine it would work with the radio though.
