Anyone else here an action figure collector? GI Joe, Transformers, MOTU, TMNT...

what line(s) are you collecting?

i have a nearly complete collection of the 25th Anniv. GI Joe/ME lineup with some of the exclusives and a few variants.

i have a decent takara book style Transformers reissue collection with the difficult to get megatron. I also have all but the most recent of the Masterpice lineup as well.

i missed the TMNT reissue series in retail.

On and off Star Wars, namely expanded universe stuff (from games, comics, books, etc); Bandai's Robot Damashii line; then on and off misc anime, game, etc stuff.

Maya and I collect small pokemon plush dolls. Only the pokemon we like though really not trying to "catch them all".

We also collect Halo action figures. We can't afford all of them either but we do buy them occasionally.

Halo was like the first line McFarlane really nailed as far as overall quality.

I collect GIJOE, well only the 3 ĺ stuff. And Star Wars as well. I like to troop build BATS and vipers.....growing up i never had much space and not much money so i never really got into vehicles, but i recently picked up some Hiss tanks.

I also picked up a few of the Iron Man figs as well. I am into customizing, but donít have much time right now to do so. My work bench at the present time is filled with mini-z stuff!

here is one of my last customs

i bought some of the halo figures but found the articulation lacking. it was hard enough to get the guy on the atv and he came with it:rolleyes:

what anime figures do you go for igor? i really wish there were cowboy bebop and or last exile figures.

i have a decent bat and viper army myself;) i also have a vast collection of custom vehicles. i don't mess with customizing figures. i see a bit of beach head, destro and maybe hiss driver? have you found any of the family dollar bats? no stores within my travel limits so i have not been able to take advantage of $3 figures. i did see eels, paravipers and bazooka troopers at big lots for $4 though. i still have some extra vehicles if you want to trade. you can see much of my stuff here (http://mini-zracer.com/mini-zgallery/showgallery.php?cat=1242), here (http://mini-zracer.com/mini-zgallery/showgallery.php?cat=1316), here (http://mini-zracer.com/mini-zgallery/showgallery.php?cat=1322), here (http://mini-zracer.com/mini-zgallery/showgallery.php?cat=1343), here (http://mini-zracer.com/mini-zgallery/showgallery.php?cat=1295), here (http://mini-zracer.com/mini-zgallery/showgallery.php?cat=1249), here (http://mini-zracer.com/mini-zgallery/showgallery.php?cat=1250), here (http://mini-zracer.com/mini-zgallery/showgallery.php?cat=1275), and here (http://mini-zracer.com/mini-zgallery/showgallery.php?cat=1354) for the latest python patrol stuff.

i never got into star wars figures. not sure why, just never really caught my attention. the BMF was awsome to look at though and i wash i had caught it on clearance. the new at-at looks impressive as well. they really have taken star wars vehicles to the next level in terms of scale.

anyone have the cartoon last airbender figures? i'm actually looking to get some of these fr my kids. we love the cartoon series. i'm not entirely sold on the movie line figures. especially a solid plastic brick they call appa. even the add shows moving legs but the retail version doesn't.

anyone pick up the masters of the universe classics? i turned them down initially however i've been wanting to pick up the main figures but find it difficult to find them now at what i consider a reasonable price.

Yeah we noticed that too. We love halo so we can ignore the little stuff.

Well, I managed to get a few Yamato Macross goodies and those put real bloody dents in wallet. Amen for other forums and BST sections :D

I get an occasional Revoltech fig due to rather low prices and the plethora of shows they cover.

Customizing i've tapped here and there, but my laziness always overpowers creativity lol.

Now, from my gundam days I've ended up with an all-baking clay casting method that proved quite nice

I got a 10 by 20 storage garage thats about 1/4 full of plastic bins full of action figures from 1990 to present. Spawn, Star Wars, Gi Joe, various Japanese toys. I used to collect just about anything that was in a movie, comic or cartoon. I honestly dont know what I am gonna do with all this stuff. Good thing I dont really collect anymore.

i had stopped action figures by the late 80's. i only recenently got back into them with the anniv. gi joe figures.

anyone else hunt for clearance figures? i picked up a bunch of the ROC gi figures for $.88 at target.

anyone know a good place to get MOTU reissue figures that won't cost a fortune?

anyone still have or collect m.a.s.k.? i recently found a couple of my vehicles/figures.
