Is All Speed Hobbies still open?

Their website is out of date, and is flagged by google as distributing malware.

I stopped by yesterday (Sunday afternoon) at 3PM, and the store was closed (although the posted sign said they should be open). There was still stock in the store though.

Is this store still open? Im just getting into the hobby, and have heard good things about the store.

I was trying to go yesterday too. The guy who usually works on Sundays is always late.. although everyone who goes there realizes he shows up at 1pm instead of 12pm. I waited for 1.5 hrs and then left..the track is very bad. I personally only recommend going there for practice if you are close. The track has good grip but is unbelievable bumpy. After the PN Regional this month, there is some talk that the owner might just sell the mini-z track because basically no one goes there..only a few people.

Go here instead: insidelineracing.com
Also, the owner will help you with what to buy, he has a good parts selection from many companies and has mr03 chassis.

Thanks.

Yeah, I was there at 3:30 and it was completely abandoned.

Is there another place close to the San Mateo area?

Ill check out inside racing, although it is a bit further away than I like to go.

Not that I know of.. ILR in Cupertino and FPR in San Jose (fast pace racing)...making the trip down to ILR is really worth it, the staff there helps their new customers out good...plus there's free racing on Wednesday and regular racing on Saturday.
