Hi Guys,
Thanks again for everything last weekend. Just wanted to post info about this weekends (last) summer event. We're participating in the Saline Summerfest (http://www.salinesummerfest.org/rc_car.html) with racing from 12:30 to 2:30 with awards at 3pm. We're planning on being there for set-up about 11:30 am.

We have three parking spots allocated to us, just off of Michigan Ave in downtown Saline in amongst the Saline Street Machines - cars big and small! :) Of course the space is a lot smaller than last weekend, but it should be fun. We're planning on just a very simple oval since we're having awards for fastest lap times. Fingers crossed the participants can complete a lap on a plain loop! ;)

David is going to drop off track and table early in the morning to claim our space. David, myself and Chuck are all planning on being there during the event. Lawrence, D told me that you might be available to help? Just let me know :) Anyone else ready for a mini round 2? :)

I can make it to help. Will be two days in a row @ Saline for me, I'll be there on Friday night for a bowling tournament at Maplewood Lanes.

Thanks Lawrence! We're planning on getting there about an hour before racing starts (11:30 am), so whenever you get there is great.

Here is the Summerfest Schedule (http://www.salinesummerfest.org/schedule.html). If you click on the link for a PDF of the schedule (near the top of the page) you can see a map of where we are, and where parking is available. We're number 9 on the map.

The weather is supposed to be good, now lets just keep our fingers crossed for the parking lot to actually be a flat surface! :)

Forecast: mid 70s and 0% chance of rain (http://www.weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/48176?begHour=6&begDay=219). Now that's what I'm talking about. As long as it's not windy we are all set! :D

Street View of the parking lot (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Michigan+and+Ann+Arbor,+Saline+MI&sll=42.326928,-83.802692&sspn=0.01028,0.018067&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=W+Michigan+Ave+%26+N+Ann+Arbor+St,+Saline,+W ashtenaw,+Michigan+48176&t=h&ll=42.167326,-83.781247&spn=0.001288,0.002258&z=19&layer=c&cbll=42.16729,-83.781767&panoid=E3dZkiwdBuRotFiHecz95g&cbp=12,67.56,,0,22.74) we will apparently be setup at.
