Anyone figure out how to get the M11x to work with mini-z yet?

Guys, isn't the M11x running Futaba's proprietary 2.4GHz protocol? It's going to be a monumental effort modifying the internal programming to talk to the ASF Mini-Z. Much better off stuffing an M11x-compatible receiver into the Mini-Z and running whatever ESC fits after you do that.

M11x receiver is huge!

The M11x has DSC so you may be able to stuff a MiniZ module inside of it. Before starting I'd verify the signal is normal PPM which is what the 901SM module requires.

A mod similar to the 4PK is what I am thinking. You can see my 4PK mod instructions here:

And that's why nobody uses M11x for Mini-Z, lol. I've seen a couple Spektrum Z's running around and honestly the smallest receiver I've ever seen is the new KO frequency hopping one (KR411FH I think is the #), but it is likely double-layered so I don't want to crack mine open just to see if it will fit in the 03. I don't need to run an aftermarket ESC in my 03, though the power would be refreshing...

FYI, KR411FH is actually double layer and I tried, unsuccessfully, to fit inside a MR03 chassis.
