Plenty of us got/will be getting this body, so I figured a setup thread would do nicely.

On MA this thing can clear all 0W / +1.5N easily.
On MR seems to be the same exact story.

Size-up rims can do fine up front, but in the rear they will most likely rub beyond belief.

Haven't had a chance to test this thing in racing conditions just yet, but it drifts sexy :D

thanks for starting this thread.

i'm waiting for domestic shops to get stock but this body is a certainty for my 3rd mr-03.

Looks great on my MA w/ those blue GPM BBS 0Ws all-around. Else I need to shop for some dish/standard sized, matching plastic rims one of these days.

I'm curious to try the whole +1N / -1W thing from the past.

i still cannot imagine how S30Z look like when it drifting. becuase my first impression of S30Z were suppose drag machine since S30Z is muscle car.well unless you a fan Vaughn Gittin Jr who love to drift around with his muscle car.

Felt bad for neglecting my Zs, so I painted my unmatching pairs of ATM dish rims.

F+1 R-1, might be an interesting "flat" kinda setup.

Update- snagged a few black bodies from hobby_japan. I'm actually thinking of making a shakotan style or maybe mad max style 240; seems like this guy would really fit either one and I already own enough to dedicate to racing (even though I'd rather race one I painted myself).

Now time for some real fun.

Got a chance to run my Z the weekend before last and it was pretty solid. 40t motor with 9 tooth pinion and it wasn't flipping much unless I seriously pushed it through a corner. One problem that I found was uneven kingpin travel smoothness and I directly attributed that to the delrin balls I used. Swapped them out for stock metal ones and the whole situation improved quite a bit.

Not yet. Thinking what to do with em besides just painting cuz I feel it'd be a waste not to put them to good use.
