Join us for another Ann Arbor Mini-Z GTG on Saturday November 27th, 2010. We primarily run Mini-Zs (2WD, AWD, and F1s) (MR-03, MR-02, MA-010, MR-01). But if you want you can bring your DNanos, Iwavers, XMods, Micro-Ts, and Epochs, etc. Some people even bring their rc helicopters and airplanes

New people are welcome as always! Everyone is friendly and helpful and we have lots of fun! :)

NOTE: here's the easy to remember URL to keep up to date with our events: http://www.mini-zracer.com/annarbor

Please bring $10 to cover the cost of the race night (one fee for the whole night of practice and racing - a great value!).
Reminder: You can now pay your entry fees online (http://shop.tinyrc.com/product.php?productid=19617&cat=485&page=1).

NOTE: Transponder rental is $3 (http://shop.tinyrc.com/product.php?productid=20512) for the entire night if you do not own one.

I will be in Pennsylvania, assembling my NSX ;)

Wish I could have made it as I'm dying to try out my new toy, but it's been a while since I've been back home and I'm looking forward to seeing family/playing a LOT of Gran Turismo 5.

I'll be there around 10:30, as usual.

I finally got around to ordering some new batteries for my TX and I'll be testing Sanyo / Sanyo Eneloop / Tenergy AAAs at the race after this... http://www.batteryjunction.com/ had them too cheap to pass up, http://www.all-battery.com/ also has good deals for black friday. I'll probably post about this soon since Lawrence and I now both have "smart" chargers that can discharge / analyze, and we're finding (as I've always suspected) that batteries are usually good for about 60-80% of what they're rated...hopefully the Eneloops will get me through an entire enduro race on one set, but if not, they'll go into a clock or remote or mouse or flashlight or something. ( https://www.outfittercountry.com also has some awesome deals on little stupidly-powerful high-end flashlights ... check out the ITP A3, it's about 50% cheaper there than anywhere else ).

That's about it for my Black Friday rant. Haven't seen many good deals at brick-and-mortar stores, seems most are just doing the "mark up to MSRP, mark down 5% below normal price, make a big deal about it".

If I make it I will be there after 9pm. I have another family deal that day.

Save me a spot.

Sent txt alert only to those who haven't already responded (since my phone has a limit of how many I can broadcast to at once!). :)

Yay, hopefully get get another big turnout this time :) We should make flyers and post them up around A2. I'd help put them up if anyone is into this idea.

Here's the big track we ran.

Thanks to everyone for keeping us on track timewise! I love being able to run 3 races before I have to leave at 12 or 12:30.

Turn 2 looks pretty intense.

I'm guessing it was a little slower than the last one I saw lol
