How long will alkaline batteries last in car and radio? Just want to have enough batteries around for the holiday (mr-02 if it makes a difference).

Thanks in advance,
Steve

the batteries in in the TX will last pretty long with the 8 AA's. in the car using alkaline batteries you can expect abot 20 minutes or so. I also wouldn't judge the car with Alkalines as performance will suffer using them.

Get youself some good AAA rechargeable and you'll be very pleased. you'll get about the same run time, but better power and at a cost savings over the Alkaline batteries.

Radio/TX= 8x AA should last you 6-8 hours of runtime if I can remember correctly. This is for the KT-5 radio.

Car/RX= 4x AAA should last your 20-30 mins of continous runtime with stock box motor in slow motion. :)

We're not in Japan, so you might as well get with the rechargable progam ;)

Just curious about the Japan reference. Do they not allow rechargable batteries?
