I have bought this combo and only just figuring out that its not going to work

I have read some people have fit the damper plate to this PN mount, but how do you mount the post? I cannot figure this out.

Any help would be great otherwise this was a expensive mistake :)

being a forum newbie, used the search function and can see that these components are not gonna work together unless you mod the pn mount.

however I have another idea not sure if anyone has tried.

On the F1 there are 4 really long bolts that are used to keep the black cover on the front down, I believe this is where the servo is. I want to know if anyone has tried to use this nut to attach the DPS post to the PN mount from the top down?

appreciate that that this raises the setup but its easy enough to mod the body. I will try it tonight, but I thought I ask in case I am wasting my time.

Cheers

For the PN mount, like you said use a long screw into mount (i either had some or bought some). You can even put a little glue in hole to help secure screw. Then you can either use screw itself to attach all, spring also, or you can cut screw short and screw on a PN damper post.;)

Not sure what you mean by using the pn damper post, you mean one of these:

So would I just use this post instead of the one provided by the atomic kit? Do you have any pics that I could see?

Yes, any version of that will do.

It still has to mount to pod with a damper post.
