The venue IS accessible from Chicago via Public Transportation and a 12 min walk. So those of you from the city that can't normally race R/C due to a lack of real car, you can take the Metra out.

Google map of the Metra line (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=41.886049,-87.636051&daddr=41.892714,-87.906866&hl=en&geocode=%3BFWo7fwIdzqXC-g&mra=dme&mrcr=0&mrsp=0&sz=14&dirflg=r&ttype=arr&date=10%2F17%2F10&time=1:30pm&noexp=0&noal=0&sort=&sll=41.885729,-87.661457&sspn=0.038659,0.104284&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=14&start=0)

And the street view (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=41.892714,-87.906866&sll=41.885983,-87.904959&sspn=0.009665,0.026071&ie=UTF8&ll=41.892716,-87.907048&spn=0,0.003259&t=h&z=19&layer=c&cbll=41.892717,-87.90717&panoid=ExSkDgvMUozZeOppulHdPA&cbp=12,113.16,,0,4.63) that shows the building on the right and the spot in the fence that has an access way. If you put in 1200 lind ave it takes you around but there is opening in the fence if you are walking.

Our initial 2 HFAY layout and then combines at 2:30pm.

I wanted to send out a special thanks to Ken V., Craig G., and Gary V. for being my pit crew this last Sunday. I would have never thought I'd run out of cars. I can't thank you enough for slapping cars together.

Also to Justin and Greg K., thank you for help in setting up and tearing down the track.

It's nice to see so many new folks and Dad's with their kids racing. I can only imagine how cool this would have been when I was a kid to go racing with my dad like that.
