Hi, guys, I have an old Mini-Z from five years or so ago, and I'm looking to get back into the hobby. I'm thinking about trading in my old model for an MR-03W MM model and get a Lamborghini Murcielago SV body shell to top it off, it's going to be the only way I can afford one of those beauties. :o

Hopefully, Kyosho will offer a Pagani Zonda Cinque body shell in the future, does anyone know if the Kyosho guys still post here? Barring that, I may just get a BMW M3 E46 GTR body and get it painted like the cover car from Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

As for mods, since the model I want is pretty loaded, I'm just going to add a clear skeleton set and Reflex Racing titanium chassis screw set. Maybe I'll add an IC tag if I know what it does, can anyone help me here? Is that the lap time counter?

Anyways, any help would be appreciated, thanks. :)

Hi and welcome back to Mini-Zs! Shop.tinyrc.com (http://shop.tinyrc.com/) has a great way for you (or anyone else) to get back into Z's or go 2.4 GHz. We're currently offering the Kyosho Mini-Z Ferrari F355 Challenge MR-03N-RM Tx-Less Body and Chassis Set - Red (2.4GHz ASF) (http://shop.tinyrc.com/product.php?productid=20897&cat=0&page=1&featured) for the same really low price that we sell the MR-03 chassis (http://shop.tinyrc.com/product.php?productid=20101) for by itself. Based on your forum name we thought this might appeal to you. :) Of course we do have the all sorts of Lamborghini Murcielagos (http://shop.tinyrc.com/search.php?mode=search&by_title=Y&by_shortdescr=Y&by_fulldescr=Y&by_sku=Y&including=all&substring=lamborghini+murcielago) in stock too.

Also, we're currently one of a few places that actually has the KT-18 (http://shop.tinyrc.com/product.php?productid=19023&cat=0&page=1) transmitter in stock. Don't let us stop you there though, we have just re-stocked a bunch of cool KO Propo (http://shop.tinyrc.com/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=55) transmitters too. :)

If you have any other questions, or are looking for something specific, please let me know at shophelp@tinyrc.com.

Thanks!

Thanks, when are you guys getting the MR-03W MM chassis set back in stock?

If your not going to stick with the stock motor pod, don't worry about what kit you buy. Get the most affordable and then the few bits needed for the track width you want. Why spend $20+ or more for a mm kit when your going to dump the stock pod and damper plate anyway.

I was going to stick with the stock pod and damper plate, I just want the MM options since I was going to get those upgrades anyway.

I wouldn't get the mr03 clear chassis. I got one a long time ago and it cracked on the left side where the battery tray meets the back of the chassis, which means the positive terminal wouldn't touch the battery and would cut off power when driving...

Okay, deleted it off of my wishlist. I'm just waiting for the MM chassis to get back in stock now.
