Both HSV010 and NSX-R will be totally new model.
NSX-R it will be the "Narrow" setup,
not the wide chassis as like the previous Super GT cars.
HSV-010 will replace NSX body in wide chassis, but in MM-setup.

Both should be good race body chances.

thanks for the pics... :D
i saw the same pics posted by kyoshosan on his blog too...
i wonder what the final color of the nsx will be like... too bad it will a ''narrow'' set up... wonder if it will have wide rear rims...

initially the hsv looks pretty cool... volumetrically it kinda looks a bit big in the rear... dunno if this will be a good or bad thing... aerodynamically speaking...

can't wait for more pics... :D

it's hard to get a true sense of the finish and appears dull, as if it's a black and white image. if this is so, it may also contain a color hue vs. silver chrome. we know kyosho has made blue chrome already.

Looks like Kyosho will be releasing a new AWD chassis (really just a MR-03 board inside of a MA-010) called the MA-015. They talk about installing a gyro and that it makes it drift really easy.

As always, check out the Kyosho blog that their designers post to, which is:

http://ameblo.jp/kyoshoblog-en/

Here is a link to the MA-015 pic

That's not new really either, there is a thread on this here (http://mini-zracer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36362), just need to search to link to it. As mentioned, just an awd with tiki tiki board and new top cover to hide/protect a gyro.

Not yet, I think about doing one but I don't have all my Mini-Zs here w/ me. I moved to Canada 3 years ago and a good part of my collection was left in Brazil. I continued to buy from here but a lot of old Mini-Z stuff is still there. Hopefully I will get them soon, then I will create a gallery :-) I'll let you guys know.

Your collection is awesome too! I enjoy seeing it whenever you post. :-)

Cheers!

good interview. i would love to make this happen more often. hasbro for example does Q+A with major fan sites quarterly. i'd love to have Kyosho do the same. we could open up to member submission for questions and select x number to submit. this is how it's commonly done with hasbro, mattel, etc.

in general, no surprises this year. most has been leaked in the previous weeks.

was anyone lucky enough to get a chrome chassis part set?

Kyosho tends to make prototype windows out of clear plastic -- I wouldn't look too much into this one. If you look at the underside the plastic doesn't seem any thinner.

So is this 98 mm vs. old 2007 NSXGT which was 94 mm?

Hi Hanu! ;)

For me it looks like the front stiffener that was previously made in carbon and sold with the Tiki-Tiki red chassis.

Except that this model is specially made to go under the mazda body.
on the old design, the carbon piece goes over the center of the arms. And by doing so, this may interfere with low front end bodies such as the mazda.
On this design, the added aluminium spacer keeps the carbon spacer away from the center of the arms. Keeping the whole piece as low as the original front end.

Both are done in order for the reinforcer bar not to hit the center of the arms, where the spring is holded.

Hope it's clear...
