I have a light kit for my AWD. Whenever I accelerate the lights dim noticeably. I was wondering if there was a way to install a capacitor or battery just for the lights. I need something that is relatively light and prevents the lights from dimming. Would a capacitor work? If so, what size/kind?

What light kit is it? It may have a cap on the board already.

Try a 100uF, 16v electrolytic cap.

it's a yeah racing light kit. It is a very cool light kit with many modes, but it dims on throttle. Would a 100uF, 16v electrolytic cap still be the right one to run this light kit? Where is a good place to buy capacitors?

Anyidea on what size cap you need for a yeah racing mini-z light kit?
