I just got back into the hobby and bought a Kyosho MR-03 3 months ago. Anyway today I was going through my parts collection and found a brand new set of duratrax ball bearings for the original Mini Z.

I don't have my MR-03 with me at the moment because I sent it to Kyosho of America to take a look at it. Been having problems.

So did anyone ever try replacing that one plastic bushing on their MR-03 with a ball bearing? Kyosho told me that bushing is their to prevent rattling. But he said I could go ahead and try a ball bearing and see if it works.

But right now I don't have my car. So did anyone ever try this?

Which bushing are you talking about?
Haven't you got the JSCC CUP Edition which already has ball bearings?

I think he's talking about the one in the left rear wheel.

Why greenepa?

The guys over at Kyosho customer service practically know me by my voice alone.

Yes it's the bushing on the left wheel.

I'm sure they love you. ;) I'm actually going to see them tomorrow. Maybe I can take a look at your car to see what all the fuss is about. :D
