That is Wayyyy Cool!

How did you get the driver to steer the car like that?

The easiest way to get the steering wheel to turn like that is an auxiliary servo that is fed the same signal as the main one -- you just have to provide it another power source and the signal can be shared (voltage drop should be minimal since it's a signal wire).

Then the driver's hand is attached and allowed to articulate freely -- I imagine someone had to spend a lot of time lapping the dude's ball joints because most figures don't come "loose", haha.

But dang, that full interior has me completely sold. I have NO idea how he fit in a full dashboard when there's supposed to be a 1/10 chassis underneath that.

If you didn't notice the driver's head turns, and he is shifting at some points as well :D Crazy, just flat out crazy!

I think it's not the shifting, but a hand-brake controled by a servo or inductor with the motor brake as signal...

Ok... Best in-car rc ever. Amazing!

believe it or not, the youtube user 'riku' is using RWD or 2WD 1/10 cars. NO 4WD or counter steer setups. These guys are taking Rc drift to a whole new level. Now lets try to do this with our MR-02's and MR-03's

Been working on it for a long time already. :) MR03 + dull throttle + lots of weight + long body = yeah, it's actually not bad! I've got a liveried M3 GTR that does a pretty nice job holding slides as long as the surface is consistent. I fully believe that RC RWD drifting is possible, and if what you say is true then at least someone else has proven me right.

The RC guts on that car must be devided between the front, and rear with nothing in the middle. That alone makes me understand that it can be RWD and not AWD. I would think AWD guts would take up more middle room thus leaving an interior like that impossible. Very impressive model making there.

There's a little bit of guts there, but here's a better look.
