Seems like a nice solution to keep the autoscale stock and not have the splitters hang up on RCP rails. Already ground mine off and polished it though :) Sturdier too.

Seems good for the collectors that race vs. the competitive racers that are probably laughing at the weight added?

nice to see them making more of these for other cars, but they're not round like the LM ones. these might get caught on side rails

For me it has been less about adding the mass, but more about the decrease in track clearance that the bumpers provide. Meaning that you have to run the chassis higher... The added mass should provide more turn in, but that would be negated by the higher ride height, or the bumper hitting the track. I used an LM bumper on an AWD mini-cooper a while back so I could use a little more offset without hurting the wheels, I heated and bent the bumper up so I didnt sacrifice CG. I was pretty impressed with the durability of these bumpers. Its nice to see Kyosho releasing them for bodies such as the GTR and NSX that have larger lips and canards that snag the walls. Most racers remove them for those reasons, while they may hurt consistency, cornering speed is higher with them on...

Yes, but the bumper kills the airflow above them anyway so you'd lose that corner speed right back. :p

The ideal front splitter for 1/28 should probably look like a RWB piece: you a little less downforce due to having a big THING jutting out rather than a sharp clean splitter, but it'll glide right off the walls F430-style because it's nice and thick.
