Hi guys,

I was hoping someone might be able to help me:

I have a Atomic 98mm V6 mount and an Atomic SSG DPS for my MR03, but the position of the post or its mount on the pod seems to be too high for the postion of the plate.

This has the effect of pushing the whole mount downwards and fully compressing the bottom DPS spring (see pictures).

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,

Gaul is correct. The v6 mounts have a fixed damper arm, which is at the highest position that the prior mounts with adjustable damper arms were. From my understanding, they switched the arm design to have an arm that does not move or loosen easily. This does change the geometry a little with the damper plates, and a 2.8mm DPS shim like the one posted above would be needed to outfit the car with the older design damper plates. Use the stock black shim between the chassis and the 2.8DPS shim, then mount the damper plate above the 2.8DPS shim.
