I really like the 2010 stang and the only nice body i can find is the red xmod one. Has anyone tried fitting it or any other xmod body onto a mini z chassis. If so was it difficult? Thanks

I didn't know Xmods did a 2010 Stang... although I do remember the Transformers version.

There is a direct fit way too, might not be that same body style, but it's a guaranteed fit:

As an ex-bowtie fan... I really like the last few iterations of the Ford stable. Cars get prettier and the prices get higher.

I mounted Barricade on a MR-015 a while back. Also did a Firebird which uses a stock s2000 front clip. I'm pretty sure the are too narrow for a MR-02. Not sure if they will fit the MR-03. MA shouldn't be a problem. Link (http://mini-zracer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32775)

so how did you mount the barricade. Did you use the miniz side clips? I just bought a mustang body i just need to get a rolling chassis.

Yes I used Mini Z side clips and double sided foam tape. This allowed me to make adjustments to the side clips easy. When I had them where I wanted them I dripped thin CA onto them. The foam tape absorbs the glue and becomes rigid. The front clip is a little more involved. It is the original Barricade body clip. You have to grind off the plastic support pieced just above the mounting area. Which leaves the mounting area thin (around the screw holes). To remedy this I bonded a piece of CF to the area using a thick CA and leaving it clamped all night. It is very strong.
