kt-19 question

wondering if you will be able to use the kt-19 on the regular mini-z's?
they don't need the third channel (for the gyro) so i'm guessing it might work...
anybody?

Probably not. The KT19 is reported to use FHSS protocol, while Mini-Z cars use ASF.

This kills my hope to run the bike with my KoProPo EX-5UR ASF (even though there is a 3rd channel) :mad:

Damn, that sucks. I was hoping this would be a fun way to get the cheap 2.4 TX for my upcoming cars. :(

I think it may be comercial issues... From the other scales, the FHSS protocol is developed by Futaba, but I don't know why the motoracer is made with this protocol...
