I am working on some kinks out so that we can make a new batch. The type of cut is very hard to make for the balls and the factory has a hard time getting them right.

I will see what can be done. Give me about 10-15 days and I'll have an update for you guys. It seems that this part is just a late bloomer, I have had a lot of inquiries lately for it.

If I find an adequate result, I will place a pre-order up for them. If I can get enough pre-orders, I will make them, if the interest is still low, I will refund people's money.

On another note, we are working on a new Disk Damper/tri shock system. It should be available in about 3 weeks.

Anyone got news on the lower bars?
We are 3 drivers wanting to go this route since we are fighting to keep the cars on their wheels:p

Have you tried just the long arms with the stock lower bar? It worked for me before I got the lower bars in. Using that and the spring under will help out with traction roll

Yes:)
But the cars with the lower tower are even better, so that is why we want this.

I just asked Cristian about these the other day. He said they are discontinued for the time being. I think he got really bummed when he had to grind them all to make the balls fit.

I really hope they can manufacture new before someone else makes a copy as well.
They came up with the idea, and really deserve the sales themselves.

Pleeeease:o make a new batch. It sold out fast as far as I can remember, so I think the world are ready for more.
I have looked through every webshop I can think of, and everybody are out of stock.

My local dealer have been out of stock forever, and only at the small club I race at needs at least 10 - 15 pcs.

I would equip other cars for sure!

On my F430, this with the reflex front end is the best I used so far on this car.

with this setup which toe bar is to be used to get -0- toe angle?
and is the camber key still usable with longer arm setup?

chad508

the camber key still works but you have to use the narrow setting and its off by one hole. so 0 is 1 and so on. i use the kyosho +6 but it still could use a little longer but no one makes one any longer that i have found

if i use atomic aluminum lower bar with reflex extra long upper arm, how can i get 1 degree camber with 1.5 degree toe

chad508
2012.10.24, 07:23 AM
Push the arms all the way in. It should be close unless the atomic arm is wider than stock

looks like the longer than original PN AA toe bars are the perfect fit here! 0 degrees fits great with about 1ish camber.
tried narrow 0 key holes and looks like it gives closer to 2 (even2+) than 1 degree but no biggie, just wedged a kyosho dark green shim between slide bar and center guide on tower bar as guide and camber looks pretty good now.

Im thinking the question that needs to be asked...is Reflex going to make/come out with this and other parts anymore? I have some of there parts and like them but on there site, looks like they are doing mostly 10th scale and no action on the mini-z? Would like to know. Reflex does a nice job with the Zs...hope they dont stop.:(

Hey, just to shed a little light.

We are not stopping our mini-z line, we are however slowing down on the development of parts.

The reality of it all is that the Mini-Z market is not what it used to be. Our sales at the beginning of last year were 100% Mini-Z, where now they are only about 15%. Contrary to what other brands want to claim, Mini-Z is a rapidly shrinking market right now. In the future, it might come back, or it might just have settled in to the market size it is now.

In an effort to stay in business, we re-focused into a growing market, where we have carved a nice little niche and are experiencing growth which we never really had with the Z's. What this does for us is give us financial stability in order to be able to not only stay in business, but also develop parts for the Mini-Z once in a while until the market hits another upswing.

Reflex survived the worse part of the Global economic crash and we are lining ourselves up to be bigger and better in the coming years. Hopefully the Mini-Z survives as well in the Western-World Markets. If not, we will still be happy supplying our friends in Asia and wherever the small pockets of Mini-Z enthusiasts may remain here and in Europe.

With that, I do have a few new items coming up within the next month or two. We just had to ensure we sold out of our previous generation items so that we could move on with the newer, improved products.

Next up is the DPS/Tri shock. This should be available in about 3 weeks. Following that will be the re-release of the raised lower tower bar. If these items sell well, we will move on a new, bigger project that is very, very cool as well.

I realize this thread is for the 03 lower front tower bar, but could you provide us with any news about the DPS/Tri shock you're set to be releasing soon? What's new/ what's different? Thank you!

I have set a pre-order for the raised lower tower bar on the store. These should be ready in about 3-4 weeks.

The new DPS should be ready in about 10 days. We had a problem with the dimensions of the first production so we had to have it re-made. They are almost done.
