Hi !

Here are some pictures of my last paintjob, a new body for my Awd.
It was a blue Lancer (autoscale).
I've used tamiya spray paint and most of decals are homemade.

fantastic job! starting from a finished autoscale has it's advantages in getting all the chrome trim and emblems. looks great!

Best application of that style wheels, ever. Looks great! Photography doesn't bring out the shine in the yellow though -- I kind of see a reflection but it looks very muted in the pictures. Take the car outside for some pictures. :)

square 10 spokes? they look good, very nice, clean and crisp lines.

...starting from a finished autoscale has it's advantages in getting all the chrome trim and emblems....

Sure, but it's need a big job to prepare the body before painting.

Color01, you're right, i've used tamiya pearl clear (ts65) before posing decals and clear (ts13) over decals.
Here is a link where i present my paintjob on a french mini-z forum, you can see "outside" pics.

The wheels are made by Kyosho (Mini-z AWD Aluminum Wheel 10 Spoke MDH202S)

and unfortunately mirrors wasn't with the body when i bought it...

Bye.

Any chance to measure the offset on the wheels?
I know how to do it on 2WD ones but not AWD ones :(
