greetings.... :D

i will be taking a short 2 week trip to the us in oct-nov with my family...

was hoping if anybody can point me to the right direction as to what tracks are in the following areas... sf / ny / la

last year, i got the chance to drop by kennon and i had a real blast meeting world champion grant matsushima and the man behind pn racing - philip ng... dropped by ilr in ca but got there a little too late... but got to hang out with luke (blt456) and talk some mini-z...

crossing my fingers that i could visit other tracks in ny (will be staying with my brother in law who lives in jericho, ny)...

thanks in advance for any info... :D

The mini z tracks in NY have all closed in the last couple of years. The only track remaining is in NJ approx 40 mins away. It's called Maj's.

If you want 1/10 scale racing there is an offroad track LONG ISLAND RACEWAY

For 1/0 indoor carpet:

Last but not least: for 1/8 and 1/10 nitro Floyd Bennett field. I'd see Rich at Brooklyn hobbies for info:

In the SF area there is Inside Line Racing in Cupertino and AutoMicro in Santa Clara. Both tracks are about an hour south of SF. I don't think there are any other Mini-Z tracks in the bay area.

Inside Line still has free racing on Wednesday from 7-9PM and a $10 race on Saturday from 5-8PM. http://www.insidelineracing.com/racing/

Automicro has racing on Fridays and Sundays. https://www(dot)facebook(dot)com/automicrorc

Depending on when you come in sf, maybe we can meet up again and go to ilr!

BLT's offer also stands with me if you happen to come by LA on a Kenon race weekend. :) It's been quite a while since I've been able to go too!

Nice list

Another Mini Z track in NJ that is not closed but the guys there are seasonal they race in the winter and have a decent crowd. However, in the summer they all go outside for off road. The track is still open during store hours.
