was posted by kyoshosan on his blog... but didn't see it here... so just replicating it... pretty 'cool' idea don't ya think? (pun intended :p)

I confess the gadget nerd in me wants to try one out but I did worry it might shorten battery life considerably.

I have not tested this new Atomic AWD Jet Cooling Fan (yet), but the tiny motor this fan uses looks very much like the "core-less" servo motors used for the steering servo on the MR03/03VE.. And the amount of current being used with this tiny motor (which probably runs at very modest Rpm's) is probably super, SUPER tiny with no real draw on the chassis' cells.

I addition, the 7-10 degrees cooling provided that Atomic posted in the specs actually might reduce the chassis drivetrain motor's power consumption (Less heat, more efficient motor operation). So in all likelihood, the current draw from the Jet cooling motor might be evened-out by the slightly-better/reduced current consumption of the chassis drive motor. I think worth a shot for AWD chassis running brushed drivetrain motors..
