Hi all,

I wanted to make sure that if I've converted a MR-02 from AM to 2.4ghz via the available Kyosho conversion board (with all else remaining original), I would be able to run this chassis in the Kyosho stock class?

perfectly fine :p you can interchange AM, ASF, FHS, I-Series, and AD Band.

Great, thanks! :)

it was a smaller turn out today but given outdoor season is upon us, not surprising. none the less, we had some good racing :p

Michael and Molly made a good time of stock class racing. i think they got a little bored with only the two of them there today.

we did get to spend a good deal of time chatting today and enjoying the social aspect of the events, or at least i got to more of that today :D

we also had some very interested watchers that took a try with some of our cars.

what can i say, stock class is just a lot of fun. you forget how simple it can be when all you have to do is take the car and put it on the track and not fiddle with all sorts of parts. i continue to do far better with my stock class car than i do with my HFAY class car.

86-90mm class was good fun as well. we are all getting these to run rather well. Nick has some tweaking to do for his 90mm AE86, it's hopping around and traction rolling still. i think i'm done with my 86mm 906, runs great. especially after the batteries run in a bit asn smooth out the punch. it really was a pleasure to drive. bill of course still drove circles around us with his 86mm 935. john has done a good job with his 86mm exige. I turned down the throttle on michael's 86mm exige so it's flat and consistent but isn't going to chase anyone down. still have to put on a new set of front tires though.

I had a great time racing and chatting after the race. It was a real treat being able to use my new (to me) Helios with my newly updated MR-02 for the stock race. Wow, what a difference from the KT-19 I've been using that came with the Sport Ready Set I originally purchased! As for my AE86 that Raymond eluded to, I think the first thing I'll try will be some grease on the rear spring shaft. It looked like a pogo stick out there, lol. Here's a link to few photos and short video clips:

I didn't have many keepers (none really), because for some reason I brought one of my old manual focus primes lenses with me. Great optics, but not the lens to use in a rush. I hope to be able to make the next race in a few weeks!

nice video clip:cool: good pictures. i've been meaning to get some video of the 86-90m class races but never seem to get to it.

FYI, anyone interested in being the photog/videographer for the club? I've been meaning to setup a youtube channel for the club but i rarely seem to find the time to get the pictures/video.

I'd be happy to shoot some stills and video, but I must say that I have zero video shooting or editing skills (nor much time for it) so it will be pretty raw stuff. If you are OK with that, then we're good to go :)

OK with me. FYI, i never really edited photos or video except to title them. can you email me via my profile and i'll return the details in a reply.
