I'm looking to rebuild my differentials and want to try one of them.. but not sure what to expect from the different compounds..

Experience/suggestions anyone? Thanks

Silicon Nitride (Si3N4)

Aluminium Oxide (Al2O3)

Zirkonium Oxide (ZrO2)

I did a little reading on RCTech and most of the 1/12th scale guys say that the silicon Nitride diff balls are the best quality. I don't have any experience with anything besides PN diff balls but I would go with the silicon nitride diff balls from the things I have read about them.

Thanks, I am trying to do an informed purchase.

I asked directly the manufacturer who answered.. "is ceramic ball with a various compound. According our experience the best one is that with Zr. They are used on big scale too (Touring 1/10, Formula)."

We'll see...

Well they would most like know best since it is their product. May I ask which compay you are getting them from? Is there a price difference between the different compounds?
