Hi!

Newbie with mini-z! I was very much into RC when I was much younger and the mini Z had bitten me hard! In the last few months I have brought quite a bit of mini z gear.

Anyhow I brought a ma020VE and the chassis was cracked all over the place, brought a couple of spare chassis and ended up building a brushed MA020 using the ASF electronics from a MR02. Finally got a chance to rebuild the VE and now I have noticed the braking is very weak to a point where there is no noticeable braking. I have played with the drag brakes with ICS but it made no difference.

It that the norm or have I blown something?

Thanks in advance!

Yes that is normal, the kyosho ve boards have little to no drag brake.

OK thanks! This is kind of annoying though.

You can set it at TX side.
Just full throttle for reverse and click the reverse trim at TX(I am using KT18). You will notice the reverse will be faster and the break will be increase.

Thanks by setting the maximum setting I was able to get much more braking effect.

Thanks again. Now I have to work on making it go straight!
