I got a new MR-03VE chassis set in (W-RM layout). My 50th Anniversary Countach also arrived. It's listed as W-RM also, but won't fit on the VE chassis. Am I missing something? It won't clear the stock shock mount.

Clear how? Wheelbase too long or not enough clearance for the top of the mount inside the body (shell presses down on the top shock)?

If it's a wheelbase thing you just need to adjust the mount position of the t plate. Top clearance is a difficult situation. ...to make bodies work I've cut material from the body to allow for free motion of the pod but being a special body I'm betting you're probably not keen on that.

Yah, adjusted the wheelbase and still hits the shock mount on the motor pod.

I'll check it again and see if I'm just having an Alzheimer's moment.

does the countach come with a rear damper in stock chassis/rtr kit? or is it an RML meaning rear mount low (no shock) i use a disc damper with my countach it's very stable.

That could be it. Been looking around online and I saw one listing of the Countach that said RM-L. It's hard to find a complete description of a an RTR version though.

you have two choices, cut a hole in the engine cover or use a disc damper

I'll get a disc damper, for now I just put a #6 carbon T-plate in. Don't need much suspension where I run it.
