What size are the motor screws that PN uses?

I want to add motor screw holes to my stock VE motor so I can put it in a PN motor mount.

Thanks

it can be done, but be careful so you don't ruin the motor. by hitting the comm inside when your drilling.

You will certainly want to utilize a "bottoming" tap for final threading. This will reduce the risk of interference with the windings. But only by a little. It can be extremely touchy if you haven't had some experience with this kind of operation.

Can the VE motor be disassembled?

I know that the Orion/Kyosho motors can be disassembled quite easily. You just need to be very careful as I would expect you would be. The trick is laying out a pattern for drilling holes all around the end bell so you can properly clock the motor to the mount. DuBro as well as some other companies make a matching drill bit and tap but you will still need access to a good bottoming tap to properly complete the process.

Found a bottoming tap on Amazon, so that's on the way.

Thanks for the help ya'll.
