Can anyone tell me if the stock motor in an F1 will work OK in a Mini Z Mr02 without blowing up the FETS ?
We run Mini Zs in an Nascar oval and they have become rather slow compared to our AMZ cars....we thought that the F1 motors might make them a bit more fun.

the stock F1 motors are the same as the racer motors in most cases. they did have a few of the kits that came with the X-speed motors in them however.

those are a little faster but are safe to run in the MR-02's.

..so...just to clarify....the stock F1 motor is OK...AND the X Racer motor is OKas well? No FET issues with either?

Yes, you are fine to run those with the stock fets. if you are running ASF 2.4 boards you can very safely run 50T or slower motors.

biggest thing is making sure you don't try to power off a wall when your stuck as that is what can/will pop a fet on a stock board even with a stock motor. More experienced drivers should have to worry about that at all.
