Can I use a PN 50t motor with a kyo ball diff/9t pinion safely?

What's the limit of motor you can use without molding the board /FETs ?

Is it the 03 or 03S chassis?

I have and didn't have any issues. I think there is a risk at higher gear ratios.

Sounds good --- sorry bout the auto correct from motor to motorcycle btw:)

I usually use either 9t or 10t with my cars and what ever the tooth count on the Kyo Ball Diff? not sure of that.

It's amazing --- the reason I'm asking is I went from my ve pro to my reg mr 03 and it seemed slow :)

Yeah same here with my MR-03. I've had a 70t in it for HFAY and it just seemed like it lost some power over the years. I excusivley run my brushless now for HFAY and it's solid with way more power than I need so I dial it back.

I've since dropped a 50t in my MR-03 and will use it as an open class car with a lexan pancar body.
