If there are enough F1 cards, can we get an exhibition race going?

That is part of the plan...
It was a great race day. Thanks for putting the time and effort to run it.
Had a great time Saturday. The track was fast and technical, with many off speed turns... food was great as usual. The program ran quite well, and we had more than sufficient time to run 3 qualifying rounds and 8 minute mains with bump ups.

Lots of fluff time still between calling to race and start but getting much better and why ample time was had for the widely popular 3 rounds of qualifying.
It's a bit odd not being able to listen for the beep during the race to tell if your being counted vs. waiting until the end of the race to wonder why you only have 3 laps but acoustics are odd for a large open space with drivers above and behind the announcer.
The layout was much more fun the the similar first run layout. having a car that tracks straight is a must on these long back straight runs.
Can't thank Safiq enough for taking the time to host the events. Great person, great fun and always fabulous food. I would come just for the meal, racing is a bonus. ;) miss the taco's ;)
The really fun part is attendance brings a bit of everyone out. some from NJ, NY, MD, VA, DE. What i very much appreciate is the lack of ego and attitude present. were all there to have a good showing and enjoy the track.
Weather, health, spouse permitting, this will be a regular trip for me regardless of where i finish. :D
I got video of 3 of the 4 mains that i will be uploading. Not a big fan of GoPro hardware as mine is always crapping out at the most inopportune time but did manage to get 3 races on camera.

Nice wide track! and props to the marshal with the hockey stick!
I have not raced in close to a decade, but plan on retooling a bit and making it down to the remainder of the Murdertown races. would I be OK with out of the box stock setup until i can start to pick up some parts?

What order were the mains run? The first B main video was corrupted. I got the last 3. I can then retitle the video’s correctly. it takes a full day to render the file so this process just takes time.
Shafiq, can you email me PDF copy of the results? You should be able to share the results to ZRound. I’ll have to dig up the instructions on how to do that but we can also share results to their webpage.
Don’t forget to update the software to take advantage of the ‘detect’ option in the driver registration. I can’t tell you how much time this saves me and very thankful they have added this feature request.

First, thanks for filming and uploading. I appreciate it.
The mains went - 70 B, Mod B, 70 A and Mod A
I can try to send the results later today, gotta perform that update too. Thanks for letting me know, had no idea it was available.
GTG #2 was a good one from an operations standpoint. Setup and breakdown was the quickest yet (big thanks to all that helped get the track broken down and into the storage room) and getting through 3 rounds of qualifying with time left for 8 minute mains was cool.

Thanks, that video has to be Mod B then and the other two are A mains. I’ll redo the title and replace the video.
Can anyone confirm the Ricky Bobby track ejection was Mod B?

You should be ok with a box stock car. Bearings and tires should be your first upgrades.

I wish i could get closer but the track size is so large it’s difficult to find a point to capture it all in such a wide open space.

Yup, like K said you will be fine coming down to drive with us. There will be no problem getting you up to speed with things like tire choice and settings, the crowd is low key and all about having fun so help is easy to find. Murdertown keeps a stock of tires, transponders and some parts just in case a racer is in need of rubber or something else.
