The X-Speed runs on the standard Mini-Z ESC.

In fact, the instruction sheet that comes with the X-Speed recomends NiMh batteries and bearings.

A turbo will make things a lot faster though!

ok, thanks

Now turbo is an external ESC right?

Will I still have break and reverse? Also can you list a few lower price turbos and their price?

what is the different between GPM Twin Turbo and Super Turbo? are they better than Turbo B and R? and do they have Break or reverse?

and Do GPM turbo work with Kyosho X speed motor?

I am planning to get a turbo but don't know which one.

The Super is GPM's newest and smallest, so it should be better than its predecessors. It will work fine with the X-Speed.

If these products are by-passing the ESC, why doesn't somebody design a complete replacement board. I'd pay extra just to have everything inside the case. Some of my bodies are too small to conceal any kind of external turbo.
